Wireless Sharing Tool for iPAQ PocketPC and MS Windows




What is it?:


Wiresless Sharing Tool (WST) is a new Tool to share notes among people in a collaborative environnement (classroom, business meeting, etc...)
This tool has been developped as a part of the Mobile Computing course at UNC.
Wireless Sharing Tool is running on standard PC running Windows 2000/XP (not tested on other platforms) and on embedded systems (ARM) running PocketPC 2002.

- Compatible with Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2000 (not tested with other versions)
- TCP/UDP connections supported
- Mutlicast group availability
- Slide Nofication by changing the color of the title.
- Buddy List
- Remote Slide Control
- Whiteboard (Draw in color, Clear)
- Note Sharing
- Notes can be opended/saved as XML.
- Automatic HTML www page generation
- Build on top of 7ds
- Private/Public notes

First Steps:

1) Install the WirelessSharingTool
2) Change the name if it is not the correct one
3) Click Join
4) Go to presentation, you can open a presentation, open the whiteboard ...
5) Add notes by setting a topic and the note and then click Submit
6) You can receive notes by click on the sync button
